Every parent wishes children came with an instruction manual—especially families raising a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, a developmental disability, or behavioral challenges. While there’s no manual (as helpful as that would be!), we can support you in creating a personalized plan and practical parenting strategies tailored to your family’s unique needs. If your child or family is struggling, taking that first step can make all the difference. Reach out for support today.

Our consultants partner with families to develop individualized treatment plans that support the child while addressing the unique needs of the entire family. Family members are viewed as essential members of the child’s treatment team and are encouraged to actively participate in both the selection and implementation of services.
The primary goal of every HOPE treatment plan is to help the child function as independently as possible within their natural environments. Therapy sessions may take place in the home, school or daycare, the Hope Learning Center, the community, or—most often—a combination of settings.
If you’d like this adjusted for a more marketing-focused, clinical, or parent-friendly tone, I can refine it further.

We offers a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of the autism community. Our consultants are trained in a wide variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and have access to extensive resources, allowing them to effectively support each child’s unique needs. All services are individualized and guided by the goals of the child and family.

Parent, caregiver, and teacher training
Functional assessment and treatment of problem behaviors

Our treatment plans are developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and are grounded in the scientifically proven principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Each plan is carefully individualized to meet the unique needs of the child and their family. Treatment plans may incorporate a combination of evidence-based strategies, including play-based learning, discrete trial training, and social skills groups.
All programs are designed to be engaging, motivating, and enjoyable for the child while building essential skills that support long-term success, including:
Language and communication skills
Social skills
Self-help and daily living skills
Gross and fine motor skills
Play and leisure skills
School readiness skills
CBAs provide ongoing oversight by regularly reviewing and updating treatment plans while supervising the therapists who implement each program, ensuring high-quality and consistent care.

Direct therapy involves one-on-one time between a child and a therapist, focused on individualized goals identified in the treatment plan. The number of weekly therapy hours is determined by the therapy team and varies based on each child’s needs, typically ranging from 10 to over 30 hours per week.
Direct therapy may be provided by HOPE-trained therapists or by parents, caregivers, college students, and other trusted individuals involved in the child’s care. With guidance and training from HOPE consultants, anyone who is committed to the child’s growth and success can play an effective role in therapy.

Parent and caregiver training is an essential and ongoing part of a child’s ABA program. HOPE consultants provide practical teaching strategies and education on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), empowering families to support their child’s progress during everyday routines and interactions outside of therapy sessions.
Our consultants are mindful of the needs of both the child and the family and work collaboratively to ensure treatment plans fit naturally into daily life. Upon request, HOPE consultants are also available to collaborate with teachers and childcare providers in daycare or preschool settings to discuss ABA principles and support the child’s individual goals, progress, and needs.

Problem behaviors can develop and escalate quickly, and families often need support in understanding why they occur. HOPE consultants are trained to conduct functional assessments to identify the underlying purpose or communicative function of a child’s behavior.
Once the function is identified, the consultant works with the treatment team to select an appropriate replacement behavior and provides guidance on how to effectively teach and reinforce it. This approach helps reduce problem behaviors while building meaningful, socially appropriate skills that support long-term success.
